About Anxo

Anxo is a project, which aimed to break the boundaries of modern genres and combine some of Kamil’s musical styles in a new way, abandoning all the regular cliches that come with them.

Kamil started out playing guitar in a local school band, but quickly hit a creative wall. All the riffs sounded unoriginal, all the ideas sounded too similar to something else. The standard rock-band formula just wasn’t working.

The band quickly broke up, however the passion for music didn’t stop there. He continued his journey by studying Music Production at SSR London. While there he was exposed to a whole range of other artists and people with various influences and genres. From House to Dub-step to Techno to Indie Rock, his eyes were opened.

The major turning point came in perhaps the most unusual form: DOOM 2016. Having played through the game, the soundtrack blew him away. The unbound and unrestricted sound perfectly tailored to the gameplay was unlike anything he heard before. The experience sent him on a journey of research and self evaluation, which has carved the way to what Anxo is today.

This stared the project of Anxo: an original artist, producer and composer with an unbound, unrestricted and inspired style of music which aims to set trends, not follow them

The result was the debut EP Singularity released May 2019, which marks the beginning of a wave of music, always aiming to innovate.
